A job well done!

Congratulations Peirce! This weekend, in Alexandria, VA, Peirce sat for the exam to receive certification to become a Certified Economic Developer. After countless hours studying, years of taking the necessary courses and two days of exam taking, Peirce passed on his first attempt! There were 44 people that took the exam and only 12 passed to get the certification. Saturday's exam consisted of essay, short answer and multiple choice questions. Peirce came home Saturday night and he called a number to see if he passed that day's portion. He did pass which meant he got to show up in suit and tie on Sunday for the oral portion of the exam. This consisted of a three person panel asking him questions for about 45 minutes. Again, he came home and called in to hear if his number passed. We did plenty of jumping up and down when we hung up the phone. So, congratulations to Peirce R. Macgill, CEcD. Everyone can expect a new business card with those letters after his name now. :-)
