Eddie is at art camp this week and so far, all I have to show for it is a robot and a self portrait which looks rather scary. But, a couple weeks ago, he did this piece of art.
I left him alone while I hopped in the shower and I came back downstairs and he had this complete picture done on this big piece of cardboard that Peirce had given him that morning. I couldn't believe the picture because this was the first time he actually placed things correctly as a group, ie. sun and planes in sky, trees on ground, cars on roads, houses on streets, etc. I was impressed. It is amazing what kids can do. In the blink of an eye, he had grown up on me.
