Hello everyone! We are back from our trip down south. We went to Richmond and then onto Wilmington, NC where we stayed with Peirce's dad. He lives about 10 minutes from the beach. We had a nice time, despite the fact that neither Eddie nor Ben slept AT ALL in the car in either direction. I think Eddie would have slept, but Ben cried or fussed the whole time so Eddie lost out on a nap.
Eddie really enjoyed his beach time. Ben wasn't so into the sand, but I think another year under his belt and he will enjoy it next time.
We had some wonderful meals and time together with the family. We also got to take a ride on Grandaddy's boat. It was so much fun!
Sounds like you had a good time. I am sure the grandchildren really enjoyed the boat ride.
