A couple of weeks ago, we went to FedEx field near D.C. to see the JMU/WVU game. It was a perfect day weatherwise, but the Dukes went down hard to the Mountaineers. Luckily, we sorta were expecting that. We met up with Will, Charlie and Daniel and all looked our best decked out in purple.

And Eddie set up a JMU shop in the back of our car. He had purple and gold things on display and drew an inviting sign.
He tried to recruit fellow tailgaters to come "look at" Duke(s) things, but it was hard to compete with the music, noise and beer. So finally, I asked some of our neighbors to come check it out and they did. Not bad for his first retail experience.
In the meantime, I have switched gears to the Baltimore Orioles. Our city is wild with excitement that the O's made the playoffs for the first time since 1997. It really has been fun to enjoy both the Orioles and the Ravens at the same time! Let's go O's!
