JMU 15 year Reunion

Last weekend, we met up with fellow JMU Dukes in Wilmington, DE for a mini 15 year reunion. In the following picture, we have Polly from Winchester, VA, Pam from South Orange, NJ, me from Baltimore, and Alice from NYC, NY. I think we are looking pretty good 15 years later.Of course, we now have baggage. I mean, cargo. I mean kids, so the weekend revolved around keeping them entertained. The first day in town, we met up at the Wilmington Children's Museum which was actually very cool. We adults had a great time guiding the kids in what activities to do. The following day, we rode a neat train that took us on a 45 minute ride and then let us off for a 20 minute picnic. We then boarded the train again and headed back to the station.
That night, we headed to TGIFriday's trying to pretend it was 1996 all over again.
However, the tables were broken up by gender, unlike the old days when we could pretty much all fit around one table.
The girls stayed up late that night chatting the night away. Good to see we still giggle like it is 1996 too. We said our goodbyes in the morning and everyone headed home.

On the way back to Baltimore, The Macgills took a couple detours. First, we stopped at (stay with me here) Peirce's coworker's dad's house in Wilmington. He has a huge train garden in his basement. It has two levels and kept us all entertained looking at every part of it.

After we left his house, Peirce found us a cute little town to explore. It is called Chesapeake City, MD. It is on a creek right next to the Chesapeake Bay. I like this picture that Peirce took that shows the quaint little houses with the huge bridge expanse in the background. The town had cute little shops and restaurants, so we walked around a bit.
