Happy 9th Birthday Ben!

Today, Ben turned 9! 

 It started off with a stray dog charging us and nearly knocking Ben over while we were out in the yard. Ben and I like dogs, but even we were scared with this dog charging us like this. Come to find out, she was very sweet and just super excited to meet some humans. She stayed at our house for a few hours (outside of course), until we tried to locate the owner. We had no clue where she was from, but some neighbors helped us track down the owners. She really mellowed out and ended up being a sweet dog. 

 In the meantime, Ben had a party and invited 4 friends to the house. The were so sweet drawing their own t-shirt designs. 

 I must say, they are a handsome bunch!

 There was also indoor ballon tennis. 

 And an outdoor obstacle course. Ben set the whole thing up himself. The boys did it three times each! 

 This shows them weaving in and out of the swings. 

 And crawling under a net and weaving around chairs. 

 Toward the end, they had to toss bean bags and get 100 points. 

 The winners all received candy bar medals. Happy campers!

 And this year, Ben wanted a dog cake. So, this is my creation this year. 

 And extra paw print cupcakes because we didn't have quite enough sweets.
