Last weekend, we had a batch of Richmond Macgills come and visit. Uncle Gordon and Zoe came up with Grammy "V". On our first morning, we went to Patapsco State Park and played in the river.
The kids caught minnows and splashed in the water.
And Gordon swung from a vine like Tarzan.
It was a fun time keeping cool in the shade and water.
Later that day, Ben played his last little league game of the season for his team, the Indians. It was such a treat to see how happy he was this season. He really loved it. Even the coach said he is just the happiest player on the team. Go Ben!
My dad and Kathy, the paparazzi, were on hand to take pictures. We all made fools of ourselves and the coaches got a good laugh out of us cheering.
The evening, Grammy, Eddie, Ben and Zoe wrote and produced a living room play titled "Family of Penguins". Of course everyone that comes to our house must participate in something penguin related! They did a great job with the two act play and I hear there is talk of a third act currently being written for next time. Get your tickets while you still can.

Act 3 "Family of Penguins-15 Years Later" is indeed in the works.Due to the popularity of the 1st production the seat costs have gone up.Francis Avenue Theater Company will be even bigger and better!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is so cool! Act 3 is gonna be great! I, as the Empress Penguin, think that this is the best play the Francis Avenue Theater Company has ever put on! With a new addition in the play, Ella M., it's gotta be awesome! I hope we can practice next Saturday!
