Go Dukes Go!

Last weekend, we headed to the Shenandoah Valley (or Shannondoor Valley as Peirce calls it). We stayed with our dear friends, Polly and John, in Winchester for the weekend. And on Saturday, we headed down to JMU in Harrisonburg. Ben loved yelling out at every mountain we saw. If we saw one on our drive, he knew we were getting closer to "Jack and Maria's" house (Polly and John's kids who are roughly the same ages as Eddie and Ben). Seriously, as these not the cutest Future Dukes you've ever seen?

We settled into Harrisonburg and hit Costco for our grub. As chance would have it Polly and John chose to invest in a tailgating table at that very moment (thanks guys). We rolled into our tailgating spot, courtesy of Peirce's big donation to the Duke Club. The guy is really trying to get his name on a building. Either that, or pay for our kids to go to college a little early with a miniscule bribe. We got to setting up the table and took pictures while our lipstick was still on. And please do check out my grand centerpiece on the Polly/John table. Even more of my gratitude is due since they provided me a place to put this masterpiece.

We all had fun eating, playing ball and relaxing in the shade.

Our good friends, Todd and Emily stopped by for a nice visit.

And then it was time to head to our seats. Yes, random kid below, I can't believe this view either. This is the new side of the stadium.

Wow JMU. Welcome to the big time. Like Ben, I could stare at those mountains all day.
