Congrats to Peirce who ran his fifth marathon today! He finished in 3 hours, 59 minutes and looked great! He's having trouble walking down steps, but overall in good health. It was a gorgeous day in Baltimore with bright sun and no rain. Despite the bit of wind, the weather was perfect for running. This year's race was the 10th anniversary of the marathon here, so the finisher's medal and Under Armour tech shirt were extra cool this year. (Peirce is wearing the bright new shirt in the last photo making me look even greener than I normally am)
The boys and I made some signs and got to see Peirce twice on the course before we saw him one last time near the finish. Note the difference in his face between mile 10 and mile 26. :-) Way to go Peirce! Time to have some grub to celebrate!
